2025 Tacoma Moon Festival
Celebrate the 13th Annual Tacoma Moon Festival, a vibrant display of Tacoma’s multicultural identity! This free, family-friendly event features food, arts and crafts, community organizations, and performances from Tacoma’s diverse heritage and immigrant communities.
This year’s theme—“One Moon, One People, One World”—will come alive on the Mainstage with music and dance from China, Japan, India, Brazil, and the Philippines. Midafternoon, we will take a brief break from the performances to partner with Tacoma Community House to welcome new American Citizens.
Chinese culture will bookend the festival with the Mak Fai Lion Dance Association opening the festival and the Hwa Sheng Chinese Opera Club closing it, with performances in full makeup and costume of arias from famous scenes of Chinese Opera. Our complete mainstage performance schedule can be seen below.
As always, the festival will close with a lantern parade led by the Moon Princess- always a magical experience for kids and a great photo opportunity for parents!
The Tacoma Moon Festival is free, open to all, and family-friendly!
