Japanese community in Tacoma. Authors of the new book from UW Press, Becoming Nisei,
Dr. Lisa Hoffman of the School of Urban Studies and Dr. Mary Hanneman
of SIAS at University of Washington Tacoma discuss their research
and share their insights on this important piece of local history.
This online event is hosted by local writer Tamiko Nimura, and includes
a 30-minute presentation and a moderated Q&A session.
